Congress can make JCPA better

On Thursday, June 15, 2023, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee will formally consider The Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (S. 1094).

Rank-and-file Media Guild of the West members have previously voted unanimously that we will not support such bills unless revenues go to newsrooms before boardrooms.

Read the letter to California Senators Padilla and Feinstein from Media Guild of the West President Matt Pearce calling for improvements to JCPA.
